You might be wondering why we're not posting predictions for this year's college football bowl games. The reason is straightforward: it's nearly impossible to know who will actually play.

Since the introduction of the expanded College Football Playoff, non-playoff bowl games have lost much of their significance. Many star players and key starters opt out to prepare for the NFL Draft or to avoid injury, turning these games into something closer to exhibition matches than meaningful contests.

As a result, season-long statistics and team performance data become far less reliable for predictions. Without knowing which players will suit up, we can't provide accurate or responsible forecasting for bowl game outcomes.
